A Fun Project

Just wanted to post a quick photo of a project that one of my customers did with the coffee cup clip art.

She used it to make some super cute tags. She is using them for Starbucks goodies that she gave out as teacher appreciation gifts. So cute! And so much fun!

She used these coffee cup images:

And these papers for the background:

As a teacher, there are days that there is nothing that I want (or love) more than my coffee! Kids could earn A's if they just knew the right way to place my order (kidding...but only a little *wink*).

Have a great day!

Spring is Bursting

It's been a little over a week that we have had warmer temperatures. It is amazing how much green has popped out in that short amount of time.

The current bushes are full of leaves and little pink blossoms. The yard is lush (and hubby has already mown it once!). The lilacs are about half way there.

Those are the ones I usually watch for.
They are such a dark green, and when that full leaf is on, you know it is finally spring!

And the birds singing in the morning (and the evening)...it just makes me smile :)

This little digital stamp is the perfect way to celebrate! Click on the link to download the free file. If you have questions, be sure and read the "How to Download" at the top of my blog.

Have a great Wednesday!

Ahh...Creativity

It was a whirl wind weekend.
Friday after school I loaded up a small bus with 9 girl and 2 parents. We drove four and a half hours to Bozeman, MT. The girls were signed up for an all girls Math and Science day at the University.

It started at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday so we stayed at the C'mon Inn.
The girls were so silly.
Swimming.
Vending machines.
Hot tubs.
The tea and coffee bar.
And lots of giggles!

We left at 3:30 yesterday afternoon and made the long drive back home. Exhausted, but happy :) You should have heard them talking about all the science they learned, the cool experiments, and things that they liked about the day.

Today, I have spent the day doing what I want to do (so naturally that was drawing and playing on my computer). It's still early enough that I will probably take a walk or do some Yoga. Then maybe find a new book to read outside in the sunshine.

Happy Sunday,

Soundtrack of My Life...

Do you ever feel that when you are plugged into your iPod/iPhone that it is the sound track to your life?

Think about it.

You are wandering around the grocery store, and you have your own theme music. Or while you are making dinner or doing the laundry. It doesn't always set the stage for the next scene, but it still colors it :)

Sometimes, my sound track is on repeat. I could listen to the same songs over and over and over. And I do. Probably drives everyone crazy. Makes me happy! Currently it is Adele, Pink, Nickelback (Pink and Nickelback are always in the list), the new Goyote, Fun, and Stevie Nicks.

And then, I start to take out a song here and there. Add in a new one. And before I know it, my sound track has changed. I'm almost ready for a few new ones.

I've been meaning to make this stamp for a while now. Finally finished it and got it listed in my shop.

Then I colored a few of the cassettes for fun. It's nice to seem them all finished and bright and cheery.

What are the songs that make up your sound track? Do you have favorites that you can always hear, or do like constant change and variety?

Happy Listening!

Coffee and a Book...

Happy April,

It's been awhile. And instead of waiting until Tuesday to post a free download, I figured I better do it today while I had time.

I think about it. Then time slips away.

Not so sure it's planning on slowing down anytime soon.
School.
Working out.
Teaching Yoga (yep, 1 day a week now, until Zumba is over and then it will be 2).
Kids.
Warmer weather.

What I am really wanting is coffee and a book. My in-laws gave me a gift card to Barnes and Noble and it is calling my name. Screaming it really :)

In honor of that, I am posting a coffee image today:

You can download them here: Coffee Cup-le.

They aren't both separate images (and not cut off). That's just the preview :)

Also. A quick FYI. If you are just now finding me, all of my free downloads are still active (I try not to delete the files or expire them). Soooo...if you click on Free... or Giveaway in the topics on the right of the screen, you can browse previous goodies.

Feel free to grab a button and add it to your blog, and tell your friends. Share the love (and creativity).

Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Downhill Slide...

I'm here!

I have thought of a million posts in the last couple of weeks, but life is crazy busy.

The good news is, I just finished the High School Yearbook. Hit "submit" last night at 7:00. It's scary to hit that button and know that there won't be any additions, corrections, changes. Nothing! And a huge relief to know that it's done and another thing I can mark off my "to do" list.

We are on the home stretch. I can almost see summer from here!

I had a couple of fun emails from people who have purchased some of my work. They shared what they created and I figured I would share it with you:

Kristin at Popcorn Pixels has created this fun watermark to use with your photography.

And then we have some fun Easter/Spring goodies:

They were made by Michelle and jems1987. Fun and unique :)

If you make something, and you would like me to share it on my blog, just send me a quick note with a link. I'll be happy to add it anytime :)

Happy April,

Rhoda
